The Ghost of Inisbofin
Cold sea spray lashed our faces as we stood on the deck of the ferry heading for Inisbofin. It was not our first visit to the place, but it was our first time visiting there in wintertime.
The reason we had decided to go was because Mum who wrote poetry had recently received an award of five hundred pounds for her work, and had been asked to submit three new poems for an anthology of new poetry shortly to be published.
